Brokenorchestra.org works with school districts and leading contemporary composers to collect and catalogue broken school instruments, develop avant-garde compositions and stage public performances.  These instruments are then repaired and returned to the school system and our Instrument Fund ensures that they're maintained forever in cities where we've been.

 

Along with our corporate, individual and institutional partners, brokenorchestra.org is commissioning contemporary music and providing access to music education for children in cities all across the country.
